Privacy and correctness trade-offs for information-theoretically secure quantum homomorphic encryption

چکیده

Quantum homomorphic encryption, which allows computation by a server directly on encrypted data, is fundamental primitive out of more complex quantum cryptography protocols can be built. For such constructions to possible, encryption must satisfy two privacy properties: data ensures that the input private from server, and circuit ciphertext after does not reveal any additional information about used perform it, beyond output itself. While well-studied in classical many schemes equipped with its analogue has received little attention. Here we establish definition for information-theoretic security. Furthermore, reduce oblivious transfer encryption. By using this reduction, our work unravels trade-offs between privacy, correctness broad family protocols, including allow only Clifford circuits.

Limitations on information theoretically secure quantum homomorphic encryption

Homomorphic encryption is a form of encryption which allows computation to be carried out on the encrypted data without the need for decryption. The success of quantum approaches to related tasks in a delegated computation setting has raised the question of whether quantum mechanics may be used to achieve information theoretically secure fully homomorphic encryption. Here we show, via an inform...

On Statistically-Secure Quantum Homomorphic Encryption

Homomorphic encryption is an encryption scheme that allows computations to be evaluated on encrypted inputs without knowledge of their raw messages. Recently Ouyang et al. constructed a quantum homomorphic encryption (QHE) scheme for Clifford circuits with statistical security (or information-theoretic security (IT-security)). It is desired to see whether an informationtheoretically-secure (ITS...

Homomorphic encryption-based secure SIFT for privacy-preserving feature extraction

Privacy has received much attention but is still largely ignored in the multimedia community. Consider a cloud computing scenario, where the server is resource-abundant and is capable of finishing the designated tasks, it is envisioned that secure media retrieval and search with privacy-preserving will be seriously treated. In view of the fact that scaleinvariant feature transform (SIFT) has be...

Enhancing information lookup privacy through homomorphic encryption

Revealing one’s interests in communication has been recognized as a growing problem in the Internet. We postulate that it is desirable for future information retrieval systems to provide privacy in both what information is requested and what information is received, without raising obstacles to the deployment of accounting and access control mechanisms. This paper outlines a solution that fulfi...

Information trade-offs for optical quantum communication

Recent work has precisely characterized the achievable trade-offs between three key information processing tasks-classical communication (generation or consumption), quantum communication (generation or consumption), and shared entanglement (distribution or consumption), measured in bits, qubits, and ebits per channel use, respectively. Slices and corner points of this three-dimensional region ...
